These awards consist of a certificate awarded to athletes who achieve the standards set in individual events for their age group, at official Masters or Centre competitions.
The distances and times are bench marks for athletes who may be new to the sport or those athletes who like to be goal orientated and enjoy a target to work towards.
There will be some athletes whose performances are well above these bench marks, and those athletes should be striving for NZMA Colours or NZMA Athlete of the Year awards.
The Achievement Standards are available to download below. Athletes only need to fill in the application form, sign it and attach a copy of the competition results to their application. Those who reach the standards will have their names published in Vetline to acknowledge their achievements.
